About

My name is Ofir Hadar, 24 years old from central Israel. I’m a jeweler and an artist.

Throughout all my life I have been painting and experimenting with all kinds of art. The answer to the question, "What will I be when I grow up?" was always “an artist”, despite knowing little about how my professional life would look like.

While working towards my bachelor's degree from the Visual Communications Department in Shenkar, my passion for jewelry making first emerged. Following graduation, I set up a small studio in a spare room in my father's print shop in Tel Aviv, and began to create non-stop, without a set plan. I soon realized that the possibilities within jewelry design are endless, and my desire to create my visions only increased. From then on, I have been slowly and steadily building my business, while developing my own unique voice.

Jewelry allows me to combine my passion for fine art and design all the while getting to work with my hands. I get to express myself through my craft (which oftentimes feels more natural than expressing myself through words) and transform my vision into wearable works of art that infuse my client's life with meaning and beauty, and accompany them in their daily routines as well as their important milestones.

The name Olos (όλος) comes from Greek and means ‘Whole’. It is a tribute to my grandfather who immigrated to Israel from Greece and symbolizes the fact my wholeness is comprised of all my parts- all of my different passions, techniques and creations. I used to think that having multiple interests was a disadvantage, but today I embrace my multifaceted nature, and am proud of it.

In my studio, I work with silver, gold and authentic gemstones. My jewelry has a raw, handmade feel. It combines fluid, organic forms inspired by nature, and oftentimes resembles treasures dug up from the depths of the earth. I enjoy combining my illustration background with my jewelry in the form of small illustrations and engravings within the metal.

I am here to make your dreams come true in the form of jewelry. To commemorate your and your loved one’s values, stories and memories through a piece of art, whether from my collections or through a bespoke commission. I want my jewelry to be a source of empowerment and positivity that fills your heart. A wearable work of art that can accompany you wherever you go.

Thank you for joining my journey! I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy making it.
